John Beard, Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for the strategic vision of the company. John joined Lewcott as a consultant in 1999 and became president in 2002. John has over 40 years of experience in composites manufacturing. John has a BS degree in Chemistry and Math from South Dakota State University. He is on the Board of the Massachusetts Chemistry and Technology Alliance and a member of SAMPE and JANNAF.
   

Robert Cauldwell, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, is responsible for all treasury functions, inventory management, audits and accounting functions.  Bob has been the treasurer for Lewcott's parent corporation for 17 years.  He has over 30 years experience in the finance and accounting field.  Bob has a BS degree from Bentley College.
   

Mike Dorf, Vice President of Sales, is responsible for Lewcott Corp. sales and marketing efforts. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the development of new advanced fiber reinforced materials and applications.  Mike has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University. Mike currently resides in Maine.

 

 

Doug Schneider, General Manager - Joint Ventures & Ablatives, is responsible for Lewcott’s strategic growth development efforts in the ablative market and Lewcott’s new joint venture Carbon Core Laminates.  Doug has 20+ years experience in the composites industry.  He has held positions such as Technical Service Manager, Quality Manager and Director of Operations.  Doug holds a BS degree with an emphasis in Chemical Engineering from Wichita State University.  Doug currently resides in California.
   

Debra A. Beard, General Manager, is responsible for directing and coordinating all operations, sales, finance, and other departments. Debra has over 20 years of experience in both the IT and specialty chemical industries. Debra holds a BS degree form the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse and holds qualifications in CompTIA project management. She is a member of Computing Technology Industry Association and on the Board of Directors for Lewcott.
   

Carl F. Varnerin, Director of Technical Services, is responsible for the development of new products in support of the companies’ strategic growth objectives. Carl has over 25 years of experience in the composites industry and has held positions in material and process engineering, research, development and sales and marketing. Carl has both a BS and MS in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.
   

Rod Finne, Director of Operations, is responsible for directing and managing Operations, Engineering, Materials and Facilities. Rod has 35 years experience with global experience in various corporate organizations. Rod served as Champion of Six Sigma and participated as a Green Belt. Rod is also a graduate of Cookson Executive Development Program. Rod holds a degree in Business Management from Becker Junior.
   

Mark Kuindersma, Director of Quality, is an industry veteran with more than 30 years experience in surveillance, quality systems, ISO 9001 certification and lean manufacturing management. Prior to joining Lewcott, Mark was employed in the laminates industry and has held positions in Quality and Manufacturing management. Mark holds qualifications as a Green Belt in Six Sigma, Quality, Lean Manufacturing and Teradyne QIT leadership training.
   

Jeanne Watkins, Director of Human Resources, is responsible for managing, planning and development of activities for human resources. Jeanne has 17 years of experience, of which six years was in managing key relationships and project management consulting assignments for a variety of clients in diverse industries. Jeanne holds a BA from Eastern Connecticut State University and earned her HR certification from Assumption College. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Northeast Human Resources Association.
   

Richard Denton, Finance, is responsible for Cost Accounting. He has twenty-plus years experience in financial management including cost accounting and financial analysis. Rick holds a BS degree from the University of Maine. Rick is active in the community serving as President and Treasurer of a non- profit organization serving the developmentally disabled.
